Hi Guys/Girls,

Thanks for looking at my posting.

I have a set of Super DLTapes that i need to recover information from. The only thing is i am missing one of the tapes and was wondering if anyone knew of anysoftware or information that will let me view the data on the tapes individually.

I have used Windows back up and some in the company I work for has used Tapecat both giving the same result. The indexing of the data starts fine and works for the 1st tape and then the software proceeds to ask for the 2nd tape and indexes that data. It then asks for the 3rd tape which i do not have. so the software will not let me view any indexed data from the other tapes. I think it is looking for an end of tape marker that is on the 3rd tape.

Any help relating to this issue would be gratefully recieved.

Thanks,

Christopher Brown
