What's the difference between Little endian and Big endian in FTK Imager?

In the Hex Value interpreter?  Same thing as it is everywhere else, of course.

As it's a very basic topic, even beginner's books in forensics assume you know sufficiently much about IT to know what it means.  Sammes & Jenkinson: Forensic Computing (2007) is the only title I immediately remember going into the question.  (Later editions may also cover the subject, but I have not read them.)

But as the answer is fairly complex, I suggest you try the wikipedia article to start with.

Strangely enough the Wikipedia related article I found is "terrible":
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endianness

This one is much better:
https://www.digital-detective.net/understanding-big-and-little-endian-byte-order/

And - only for the record - boiled eggs are to be cracked at the “little end”.
