Good morning,

I'm giving away 50 FREE licences to my software toolkit to assist with YouTube investigations www.youtubeforensics.com

This offer is only available to law enforcement, military, or prosecuting agencies. If you work for a commercial lab, you get enough perks -) To claim your licence, please send a PM with a verifiable work email. First come, first served - though I will take into account your timezone!

There's no catch, obligation, or hidden cost. I won't pester you for feedback, or even a company mousemat. It's my way of giving something back to the forensic community - something I'm proud to be a part of.

Kind regards,
Ross

It saddens me once again to see more LE only items.

Well they have to make money somehow otherwise no one will be there to write the software in the first place )

Being ex LE I think the more free and cheap licenses for LE the better.

And as nice as the software sounds, I couldn't really see myself using it for my work, but you never know.

It looks like the freebie offer is the only part that is LE only.

hi armresl - don't be sad -)

you can download a functional evaluation version of this toolkit, or follow the footer links for the Facebook or Twitter applications. my forensic tools won't break the bank and are amongst the most competitively priced on the market (www.linkedinforensics.com is a modest £60) but we try to support the industry by making copies available to educational and police labs free of charge.

it's a hard balance to strike and unfortunately someone is always going to get left out. send me PM with your work email when you have a moment.

cheers, ross

I tied to do just that yesterday to have a look at the software but never received the download link which was supposed to be emailed to me )

You may want to check your auto response settings as appears they may be broken.

I do. I often wonder if the goal is to have the tool validated as being used by LE in order to gain "street cred" before being sold to the commercial sector.

Ross,

After reading this post about your product I visited your website to get more info on your products.
I am not sure what is going on, but it is getting rather irritating.

1. I tried to download what appears to be a "product information pdf, for product info and the screen just bounces once.
No download option ever appears. This happened on a few product pages.

2. I wanted to see what pricing was on a few items and when I click the "Buy now" button, nothing happens.

3. Frustrated I filled out your contact form. I tried to send the form and I keep getting an error message, "wrong capctha entered". I tried refreshing and entering different capthcha's like 5 times.
Just keep getting the same error message,"wrong captcha entered."

4. I tried these above tasks with both firefox and IE. Same results on both browsers.

Is your website experiencing problems today?

They sent me one license or link to download (really don't now), and the agency exchange antivirus or firewall just block it, and i couldn't release it.

I didn't understood why, i already received other mails that where blocked, but i just always could release them, this one don't!!!.

So I'm a little curious what about this software is… if someone find out tell me…

As always, I hope it assists with your casework.

Have a safe weekend,
