@passcodeunlock Thanks for your help. I’m about to spend almost £2000 for a private company to do this so I’m just trying to get as much information from diffrent sources as possible. Looks like it’s going to just be a gamble. Anyway I appreciate your information
If you are LE, GreyKey could be used to solve your problem.
If by the private company you mean Cellebrite Advanced Services, that will do it.
All other options are only a waste of your time and money.
Using a company called MSAB. I’ve had very mixed reviews
No need to worry. They are a big compagny and will deliver.
@fissa I’m sure they are really good at what they do I’m just worried that the setup and the security/encryption measures on this type of device/iOS system is going to be difficult for any company looking to recover deleted data
I guess it comes down to when the data was deleted and the amount if usage the device had post deletion. I would be interested to know what Apple changed in IOS 12/ 13 that suddenly made safari history and the likes unrecoverable unless looking at WAL records.
Understand by default the WAL checkpoints at 1000 pages but also have seen some articles stating it checkpoints when the app is swiped up or on device reboot.
MSAB won't solve your problem, as I wrote you earlier, GreyKey if LE or Cellebrite Advanced Services.
There are MSAB people on this forum, none will pretend they can unlock without data loss an iPhone XS Max running iOS 13!!!
@fissa: please stop bulk answering all the topics, mostly stop this behaviour if you have no idea what you are writing about!!!

Not sure how much weight this carries then. Load of crap or??
The Elcomsoft blog is pretty accurate!
