Are these stolen? Why do you need to unlock a phone to repair it?
Ask the owner to provide you with the password, it is cheap and fast.
Some ppl need to understand that in our field, we receive lots of cases where the client doesn't know the password of the device and where they need the data in these devices.
I personally do crack lots of passwords everyday. However, I have my own rules dealing with such cases as it's really sensitive.
I ask for the personal ID of the client, I take real photo of the client, I've made my own application template that the client must sign including their personal information.
Right after I crack the password, client must confirm any data in the devices such as a certain photo, a whatsapp msg or some call logs.
Everything in records and very official, I do have tons of these applications in my lab and only this way I will work on such cases.
