Hello Folks I need some whatsapp expert here,
following issue. Someone used my whatsapp web for about a year because my phone had no lock and I was assuming its never the less safe because we were in a room with other workers. He kept mentioning topics i wrote in chats. I didnt notice back then and it only now comes to my full realization. I however cannot find the specific chatdialogs anymore in chat export, even if its from my chatpartner, like they are gone and never existed. Assume someone deletes chatmessages from my account via whatsapp web, it must still appear in the chat export of my chatpartner shouldnt it? But there is not even a message with "this message has been deleted".
Can someone tell me if you can delete a message for both participants of the chat. Also is it possible to get this back somehow?
Is there also any way to find out who logged into my whatsapp web? I back then logged off with no thoughts when I discovered another Browser on my Account, shrugging it off not knowing what it meant, because I was not familiar with this functionality before that. Can someone retrieve this and also the device it was connected to? I already asked the support service of whatsapp but they are no help.
Last but not least, I had strange Updates on my phone not related to WhatsApp I believe. I was not really questioning anything as im not really a techguy.
I would hope I could take somehow legal actions afterwards, but even if its not possible I am abit unsure if my phone is now safe. Assume it is not and I switch my phone, is my phone number safe?
Technically deleted messages could be recover as the sql database only clean the index, there are some tools for that.
Morevover, your deleted message , even delete by any user, is still store in plain text in whatsapp servers. The end to end encryption is 100% fake.
There are plenty of tools for that, free or paid versions.
Even a google search of "recover deleted messages whatsapp forensic" could do the trick.
Check if you have a crypted backup, as there the deleted message are still there 🙂
Other method i listed i only offer it to police.
