Because finding new music can be a challenge, here's a thread where you can recommend any songs, artists or albums you particularly enjoy.

For fans of indie rock, a few bands I'm currently enjoying are

First Aid Kit, a Swedish folk duo with beautiful harmonies;
Bitter Ruin, angry punk-rock duo with amazing vocals;
Hunter & The Bear, a folk-rock band who are currently touring and well worth seeing live;
Dead Sara, who walks the line between pop and indie rock rather nicely.

What kind of music do you enjoy? Do you have any suggestions for bands we should listen to?

I listen to pretty much every genre out there, but for the moment i prefer calm music because of all the crap i've been through lately at work.

Here are some examples

"Passenger - Feather on the clyde (LTR Remix)"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvlH5EOJn88
I dont know where i heard this (Walking Dead maby?), but i love it and the melancholic sound, the original version have a higher tempo.

"Kent - Den döda vinkeln"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqAcEWgXgPU
A classic Swedish alternative band that unfortunately is making their last album this year. As a reference, they are on par in popularity with alternative bands as "The cure" and "Depeche mode" in Sweden.

"Volbeat - The Gardens Tale"

Best thing to come out of Denmark so far. Metal+Rockabilly-ish… Hard to define.

I also like bands like VNV nation, Depeche mode, Flogging Molly and many many more.

Thanks for the metal recommendation trewmte! I've been reviving my teenage metal favourites and looking for some more to add, so that's useful!
