These are the videos of the vehicles that are responsible for stealing my dads trailer from our office.

They circle our property and the business center next door until the finally cut a lock on our side gate. They then pried open our front swinging gate and took the trailer.

Some of the videos are just for context and dont show any plates.

The folder "Enhanced RZR Videos" was an attempt to clean up video so we could at least figure out what type of trucks were involved. The file 8VideosInOrder.mp4 is exactly what is seems to be, I put the sequenced the videos in one video.

The police were able to track the trailer to where they get off the freeway using traffic cameras that picked up our trailer plate. But due to "privacy laws" they say they cant look at the traffic camera log to see the plate of the truck towing our trailer.

If anybody has any ideas of how to clean up the video to even get a partial plate it would help a lot.

Get yourself a proper lawyer to represent you in dealing with the police. In this case the police have all the rights to access the videos and logs from the traffic cameras.

Already have a lawyer, what I was hoping from this forum is a clearer picture of a license plate to push the police. Lawyers charge by the minute rounded to the nearest half hour these days. So the more work I can do to provide evidence to the police the better. I filed with DOT, Caltrans, https://dot.ca.gov/ already but by time they respond it might be too late. Even if we find who has the trailer, they can say a friend gave it to them, or some other bull crap. I need to prove who actually stole it. I thought this forum was a place that people helped clear up video to find the bad guys??

It turns out that another police has taken up the officer's caseload since he is off until February. A week ago, I left a message for the watch commander. In order to move things ahead and achieve a result, I'm still attempting to obtain the license plates from the videos that I've uploaded here. Is there anyone that can assist? Is there another forum where I ought to post?
