Hi all,
Has anyone had any success with obtaining a read from a nokia 108 (Dual sim & a normal single SIM) handset? So far, XRY, oxygen & cellbrite have all failed! I have the flasher box cable (as required for a Nokia 110 etc), but no luck so far.
I believe it is a nokia MTK device.

Yup, works with Infinity BEST and some of the usual Chinese phone flasher boxes.
Ok thank you. Looks like we will have to add another dongle to our collection! D
Dear PB,
I hope it worked for you so far. Just want to share my experience for Nokia sets.
For me ATF box has helped in solving most of the problems with Nokia sets and further more its free JTAG option are adding samsung sets as well.
regards
Adnan
is there a JTAG adapter for the Nokia 108? Currently attempting to extract the data using ATF using the Nokia 108 service cable to so far have been successful.
Interested in the JTAGGING method on ATF so would appreciate any information on adapters to give it a go for myself
Well there is no need to use JTAG method. There are many options under the Mobile model itself.
You can find the cable here

The option you have linked to is a JTAG cable. Use this cable with ATF (or other flasher box of your choice). You can then decode the resultant file with the forensic tool of your choice (XRY, UFED, oxygen etc).
JTAG is probably the best option open to you.

It's a service cable, and one will probably use USB; definitely not JTAG!

Yes, a service cable that connects to the JTAG points under the battery that are present on the majority of Nokia handsets of this type.

Well, it still seems to me a FBUS and not JTAG (and NOT USB).
