Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference East 2026 Returned To Myrtle Beach

The Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference East 2026 once again brought together the global digital forensics, incident response, eDiscovery, and law enforcement communities for an unforgettable week of education, collaboration, and innovation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

With 710 attendees representing 19 countries, 41 states, and the District of Columbia, Techno East continues to serve as one of the industry’s premier independent events dedicated to advancing digital investigations.

Nearly half of all attendees (47%) were first-time Techno participants, demonstrating the conference’s continued growth and ability to attract new professionals, while 52% of attendees represented law enforcement agencies, reinforcing Techno’s strong foundation within the investigative community.

The conference opened with an inspiring keynote from John Pizzuro, Head of Law Enforcement & Safety Policy at Snap Inc., whose presentation on responsible innovation and trust in the age of artificial intelligence set the tone for a week focused on the future of digital investigations.

One of the week’s highlights was the CyberVance Ransomware Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, where participants put their digital forensic and incident response skills to the test. Working through real-world ransomware scenarios, attendees collaborated to analyze evidence, solve investigative challenges, and apply the techniques learned throughout the conference in an engaging, team-based environment.
