Hi everyone,
I'm in the middle of compiling the new education section for the site and am trying to contact as many academic institutions as possible. However, I'm having some difficulty contacting staff members at the following universities and colleges
UK
Birmingham City University
De Montfort University
University of Greenwich
University of East London
Leeds Metropolitan University
Lincolns College London
Royal Holloway, University of London
Kingston University
Liverpool John Moores University
Teesside University
Ireland
Waterford Institute of Technology
Dublin City University
US
University of Central Florida
DeVry University
Highline Community College
Kaplan University - Hagerstown Campus
Stevenson University
Tompkins Cortland Community College
Walsh College
Washtenaw Community College
Wilmington University
Italy
University of Milan
India
University of Madras
If you have an email address for a member of the computer forensics teaching staff - preferably the course leader - at any of the above I'd be grateful if you could PM me with it (if you're comfortable doing so) or alternatively ask the staff member to contact me directly on admin@forensicfocus.com if you think they might want their institution to appear in the new section (there's no fee for inclusion, I just want to make sure the details are accurate.)
Many thanks in advance!

You might also want to try w.buchanan@napier.ac.uk if you don't have a contact for Napier University in Edinburgh
Thanks for that, will do!

Thanks Greg, don't suppose you have an email address too (via PM)?
I will check back through my records and pm you.
Try Butler County Community College in western Pennsylvania. The program is headed by Kim Fish but the advanced courses are taught by a corporal with the PA State Police that runs their computer crimes division.
Some of the classes can be taken online but the main forensic courses are all in class using EnCase, FTK, and a few others. I was just at a conference in Pittsburgh with Kim and she said they just purchased FTK 3.0. We used 1.7, 1.8 and 2.0 when I was there. The EnCase version was 6.5 I believe but I left there in May 2009.
Thanks for that. Butler's not on my list at the moment so I'll add it (I'll probably start a new thread shortly for other places I've missed).
Cheers,
Jamie
Another that was not on your list, but from which I recently got my Graduate Certificate in Digital Forenics, is the University of Rhode Island (USA). I considered it an excellent program and they also offer it as an online program. The head of the Digitial Forensics program is Prof. Victor Fay-Wolfe Email is> wolfe -@- cs.uri.edu .
Steve Devlin
Boston, MA
Thanks for that too, Steve. Just to clarify for others, though, this is not a list of all the places I want to contact, it's just a list of places where I've been unable to make direct contact with teaching staff so far. Look for a post next week asking for all the places I've missed!!
