Hi, Jamie,

The University of New Orleans in New Orleans, LA has offered digital forensics courses for many years. We also have available concentrations @ all levels (BS, MS, Ph.D.) that allow students to concentrate heavily in digital forensics or other areas of information assurance while completing their degree.

I'm the contact person (Prof. Golden G. Richard III, golden@cs.uno.edu).

Thanks,

–Golden

Ottawa, Canada - The Canadian Police College
http//www.cpc.gc.ca/

I forgot to mention the college where I work oops It's the national police college (run by the RCMP). While it is open only to Law Enforcement, that includes any government agencies that enforce legislation revenue, customs, fisheries, etc.

It offers specialized 1 to 3 week certificates in areas such as mobile phone forensics, internet evidence analysis, live analysis, etc. All very focussed on the technical skills.

It's open to law enforcement from around the world. We've had Italian Carabinieri, Jordanian police, and officers from other countries train here in the last year. (Interestingly, the Italian officer said that it's cheaper for him to train here than to go to London for training. Also, Ottawa has an NHL hockey team - Go Senators!!!)

Might be a good option for training if you are already working and can only get away for short periods.
