Anyone know if there is a book that takes a general high level view on how to conduct an investigation? I figure since traditional forensics has been around for much longer and is a much bigger field, that there might be a general book that could be applied to computer forensic investigations.
Talk about a delay in responding to this post oops ….here is something I wrote that may answer your question "Placing the Suspect Behind the Keyboard", http//
The book shows a combination of traditional investigative methods, electronic surveillance methods, and digital forensics procedures put together to make a case, even describing case presentation methods (to showcase your investigation to your boss or a court).
