What are some of the more popular certificates one can acquire in the field of computer forensics? What are some of the more honorable certificates employers desire an employee should have? Both public and private institutions.

Greetings,
And vendor specific - EnCE and ACE. Though Access Data lowered the barrier to getting an ACE enormously, thus lessening its value.
