Hi everyone, I'm Danial and I'm a newbie at Forensic Focus.

Currently I'm waiting for my enrollment to Level 2 of my degree studies, which is the continuous education pathway from my 2 years Diploma studies in ICT. Therefore, I've been struggling of deciding which IT course should I take on. But I have an interest of forensic computing, but my university is offering bachelor hons of IT in specialism in forensic computing.

Therefore, just wanna ask any senior members or any members here of providing some advice of what could I really expect in the world of computer forensic since I knew nothing about forensic pratically apart from it's definition.

Thanks. D D

Lots of waiting, lots of boring reviews of large amounts of data.

You will be looking for a needle in a needle stack. You will rarely complimented, almost always derided, often confronted, offended and patronized.

Otherwise it is all fun.

Wow, that's sounds a lot of pressure on it. But I like challenging modules, as it brings up the hype and also my creativity on it, of course I might doubt forensic might not involve any creativity prespective…….correct me if I'm wrong? D

Depends on who your employer is. I get to play with new cool toys and create new solutions to problems. I get good feedback, i never get offended or patronised by anyone. But working under pressure, yeah.

And its only a needle in a needle stack if you're not given an idea on what may have happened - wild goose chases are rare, at least in my world.
