Hi,
I am currently studying an MSc in Computer Security and Digital Forensics. I have completed my study modules and independent study, all that is left is my thesis/dissertation. For my independent study, I wrote a paper on THE CHALLENGES WITH eDISCOVERY. This focused on what eDiscovery is; the challenges organisations face in becoming litigation ready; as well as a brief overview of potential strategies organisations could deploy to minimise these challenges. The paper only touched the surface of eDiscovery, as it is such a large area.
My module supervisor feels it might be a great idea to continue with the eDiscovery stream and put something together for my thesis. However, I am not sure what path to follow.
I have thrown around ideas focusing on the current tools available that walk through all phases of the EDRM framework. Or the impact of cloud computing on eDiscovery, but not really sure
Just wondered if anyone involved in eDiscovery had any thoughts or ideas on what I could research/write about?
Thank you
To be frank, while a good idea, you came up with that idea in the first place, you should have known what path you should have been taking in the first place.
Why not use, Xmind software to build your Thesis? That way, you can branch out and gather your paper afterward.
For me, most e-Discovery issues revolve around legal issues, regulations, import/export and privacy laws . . . little to do with forensic technology . . .
