I am currently studying computer and digital forensics at Champlain College, and I've been wondering about which certfications I should start going for. I'm trying to compile a list so I can set some goals for myself.
I want the list to go from simple to difficult, which I guess should go without saying. Right now I'm really looking for certfications that are basic and relatively cheap such as ACE, which is free and can be aqcuired in a short period of time.
Any type of advice would be a huge help because I really want to do extra work but I don't exactly know where to start. Thanks!

And within the industry, these certs will be considered to have value according the the time and effort… i.e. easy to get certs won't help you much.
