Hello,
I am looking to see if someone can provide some good knowledge on quality training for computer forensics. I have taken the SANS 508 course (I did it online verse in the class room) and have taken other SANS courses in person. I like the material from SANS but do feel that its a cram session for you to learn 10% about something and then to go and learn the rest on your own. Trust me, I have no problem learning on my own, but with a 9 to 5 job, and two infants at home when I spend a week onsite learning, I don't want the 10% of knowledge to now really go and learn something. I want to come away from that week having learned, then learn more at home.
So, that said does any one have any suggestions on computer forensics training? I am looking for more lab than text book knowledge.

If you are looking for more lab than text book, I would recommend attending vendor training for a specific app you use (Helix, FTK, EnCase, etc.)
If you want good thorough training that is vendor neutral and has plenty of labs you should consider the CCE boot-camp at Kennesaw State University.
