Good Afternoon, all I am interested partially in the computer forensics but my main focus is the Data Recovery portion. I was wondering if anyone could give some clues as to what online courses I could take, I have looked at the schools in my area and they do not have anything that I am looking for. I did do some research and I found a place called "The Intense School" I tried to do some research on it but either they watch forums like a hawk and scrap the bad stuff or they are the best thing since sliced bread. I am currently in the IT field as a Desktop Support and PC repair technician. I am fascinated by the rebuilding of a dead hdd and want to get more into that side of things just to have as a hobby while i pursue my goal for it security and cyber crime. Also what type of tools will I need to replace parts in a hdd. Thanks in advance for all of your suggestions

Do some research on My Hard Drive Died http//myharddrivedied.com if you're looking at the hardware side of data recovery. There is a much steeper cost to enter the hardware recovery but a lot less competition. Scott is next to you here in Georgia.

Do some research on My Hard Drive Died http//myharddrivedied.com if you're looking at the hardware side of data recovery. There is a much steeper cost to enter the hardware recovery but a lot less competition. Scott is next to you here in Georgia.

Absolutely. I've been around Scott's class and there is some excellent material presented. You will learn about hardware data recovery if you opt to undertake that course.
