I'm a DeVry online student graduating at the end of October with my BS in Technical Management and specialty in Computer Forensics. I'm very driven towards my specialty and this is the field I want into. However, my school career advisor has informed me that it's likely we'll find more jobs based on my BS.

Can anybody tell me what one would do with a BS in Technical Management? I'm driven enough towards Computer Forensics that I'm looking to enroll in a grad cert program which will certify me in EnCase.

Thank you,
Mariesa

That would have been a great question to ask before you decided to obtain the degree rather than at the end of your studies. What has DeVry told you that you can do with your undergrad? The website seems to indicate that it's a pretty broad spectrum of jobs that might be ready for based on your education.

Getting the EnCE is a good idea, but if DeVry did their job correctly, you don't need to do a graduate certificate program to pass that test. Between what you learned at DeVry and a good study guide, you should be in good shape.

Thank you! The only reason I went to DeVry was for the Computer Forensics specialty. With my being a transfer student, the best way to maximize my credits was the Technical Management program. DeVry actually uses FTK for their forensics courses. I would guess that's what I'm using in the next one too.
