I am new to Forensics and I was wondering what type of different careers are out there for computer forensics? Is there any websites that are good for finding more on this subject?

Well you've come to a useful one straight off. Have a look round this site and you should get a flavour for it. There's obviously a wide variety of work out there, public/private sector, hands on / office based / analytical. Where do your strengths lie? When you say you are 'new' to forensics, what qualifications do you have and what background are you coming from? Finding the first forensics job, as many people have already said, tends to depend on experience.

Perhaps you should have learned what computer forensics is about BEFORE you planned to study it?

Also, spending 10 minutes reading posts in this forum should give you an idea what it is we do, or alternatively, look at http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_forensics
