Kessler's map is not quite right either, although I applaud the effort put into it. See for example his response for TN. He never asks the right question, since if he did, it would include the "working CF for a lawer" exception in the response.
Agreed. There are several other issues too (besides being outdated), but I figured if vastidious is interested, he can pick up the ball and run with it, in similar fashion.
Kessler's map because of the scanned responses with contact information, gives a much higher confidence of validity, at least in my mind, than simply a table and little to no reference. mrgreen
vastidious, if you are going to try a similar route, may I suggest you follow up on some of the responses if they do not answer properly. For example, MD acknowledges the question is for CPA & Computer Forensics, but only truly answers for CPA.
Also, just because Kessler's says you don't need a PI license doesn't make it absolutely correct. In Alabama for instance, when I enquired, there was no state licensing system, however certain local jurisdictions had specific requirements.
