When applying for a data collection position in digital forensics which asks for a minimum of 1 year hands-on experience performing server installations, network troubleshooting, security risk assessments, and auditing in a technical IT environment, and let's say you have at least 10 years experience, how would you present the progressive experience without disqualifying oneself as the proverbial "overqualified?" I have no previous forensic work experience and it is not a requirement of the advertised position, however, I have academic qualifications in digital forensics in addition to an undergraduate degree in mathematics.
