I emailed my cv and cover letter to various New York based company's. One which is pen testing who are going to branch out to forensics asked whether I would be willing to move there, and what salary expectations I have.

I don't really know what to answer regarding the salary as I don't know how much value the dollar has. Could someone recommend me an amount? I nearly have a degree in CF but no experience working in the field.

I understand I'll have to get a visa and learn the differences in US law.
