I recently graduated with a BS in Computer Forensic, and currently live in NY. I am having trouble finding more entry level jobs, all i have been seeing is SR position.
I have worked in the IT field for over 8+ years, just looking for a job that can get me started into a career. I prefer to stay in NY but I will relocate for a position.
Any tips or sites, I do check Dfinews job listings, Dice, and linkedin.
Thanks.
This is something I wonder about with a lot of people who have one post and have been around for a bit on the site.
Your only post is about a job and how you can't find one. I can tell you that if you put your feet in the water and start topics, add information to other topics, etc. and show others that you have valuable knowledge, you will get messages from others, or recommendations from members and it leads to a lot.
What people from the sites, at least the senior members who I've talked to in person, on the phone, etc. have a very hard time when they feel that their only purpose is to find graduates jobs, when they don't want to take the time to even post an introduction, or add value to the site.
I hope that comes across as helpful more than not so, but a degree just doesn't cut it, you need networks of people, friends, and to totally be on top of the ever changing world of CF.
