Hello everyone,
I'm new here but I am a recent college grad with a CIS degree with a focus on Computer Forensics. I have been going around applying in the area with little luck (other than temp sales positions for some reason). I found this website and decided I'd give it a try to see if any employers in the area are looking for entry level examiners, imagers, or anything really that is related to computer forensics/e-discovery.
I currently live in RI but I am willing to relocate somewhat, but would prefer to stay in the New England area since that's where all my family is. I graduated with a 3.81 GPA from Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA this June.
I am eager and excited to begin my career and looking forward to working for a company that can help expand my knowledge and experience in this very interesting career.
If there are no employers who can reply to this, can anyone suggest some place for me to apply? As I said, I'm very eager to get started on my career and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and I hope to hear back from anyone!

Dan,
I don't mean for this to be taken the wrong way, but since you are new looking for a job in CF, I wanted to relay a common experience.
The title of this sub is Digital Forensics Job Vacancies. You posted here where people post jobs they have.
To get to my point people have 100% for sure NOT hired someone who posted to a forum like this or titled similarly "Services Needed" etc. The reason that the people said they didn't hire the person who took the time to write out the well detailed post, was that they missed a very simple point of reading where something went, or didn't care where they put it so long as it got noticed.
They said, if they can't tell where to post something that is very basic, how much do you think I trust them imaging a server and testifying in court on even a small detail and following those protocols.
Once again, I don't care about the post, but since you're new I figured I would mention that there are companies out there who look at this job as highly investigative and want someone to follow things to a "T"
Moved to correct forum.
