I started to apply in feb in my last year of study.
got an interview in march and offered the job in april pending university results.
Hello All,
It appears there are a lot of us final year students looking for jobs. It seems to be a tough job market.
Apologies if this question has been asked elsewhere. Are there any commercial/industrial qualifications/ certificates that you would recommend trying to obtain to aid appearing more desired by employees?
i.e. a degree and a qualification, looks better than just a degree
Thanks in advance

If you have access to software at uni, then your ACE (AccessData) is a good start. The exam is free & fairly straight forward, but you need use of the forensics products.
There are loads more (CCE, CDFE, etc) but they tend to be a bit pricey & most employers in the industry will pay for them when you are working there.
If you don't come from a strong computing background, it may be worth getting some of the Microsoft courses or CompTIA courses under your belt & they're not too pricey (in comparison).
