I have a Laptop with one of the partitions encrypted using bit locker, is there any way of decrypting it?
Apparently the latest magnet AXIOM can do this, if so, how do you do it?
Anyone know of any free tools out there to do it?
Thanks in Advance!
You need the BitLocker user password or the BitLocker recovery key to mount the volume. Both can be bruteforced.

Can you be kind enough to send me some sort of guide to do this?
We use our own scripts for BitLocker bruteforce, unfortunately I can't share those (
I sent you a PM.
Both can be bruteforced.
Not sure, what it is possible.
Dictionary attack against the BL password, incremental or hash list attack against the BL recovery key. It is possible )

One question, since i am not sure if you know it perhaps you can access the Bitlocker Recovery Key which is stored as part of the users Microsoft Account.
good hunting!

Might be worth a search over the non-encrypted part of the drive for the .txt file with the key in it. I had a similar case and a search identified that the user had kindly saved the file to the non encrypted area when setting up the encryption!
Saving the BitLocker Recovery Key on the same computer to a non-encrypted partition isn't very wise.
But who knows, good luck there, we can never underestimate stupidity )
Has anyone had experience using software from Passware?
