I got my hands on a list of absolute addresses for about 30 Nokia phones which I will be posting on Monday. I cannot guarantee if they are all correct. So be sure to try on test phones initially.

Idea for a searchable database gets two thumbs up.

Would it be worth building a simple website where people can share absolute addresses and compile that into a database. Which can be made available here or as part of the website.

What fields would you need in the database? I could throw something together quite quickly which does what you need.

Just the database or the site as well? I could put together a site. WHat else would people like to see on it?

A database accessed at Forensic Focus would be excellent, dngroen. I would like to see extra fields added and that all fields could be updated.

MFC has a good database and they have my respect for what they are doing. I am not convinced however that FF shouldn't have its own database for its members and there is certainly no suggestion that FF wants to even attempt to try an reinvent any wheel. FF has always been known for its originality. I will do all I can to help with an FF Mobile telephone database.

I have put together a very simple site and database. It is not currently live as I am still working on a way to host on my own PC.

It currently allows for the following
search by make, model, keyword
submission of new addresses

currently the fields recorded are
make, model, start, end, offset start, offset end, notes, varified/unvarified

working on mass submission.

Fantastic work! Looking forward to it.

Be a good idea to include model version to cover any differences that they bring i.e. Nokia 1100 = RH-18, RH-36 and RH-38 all with different PM Abs addresses.

Done.

The site is now ready for testing so please do take a look and leave your feedback. Be forewarned though my internet connection is slow so the site won't be as responsive as it should be.

Please add any absolute addresses while you are there. If you have a long list of them let me know. (I'm still working on mass update)

As sods law would have it as soon as I published the ip address the server breaks. Back to the drawing board I thinks.
