Guys if you have the DCTxBB5 Tools v 2.0.8.0 HWK you can get the flash address and PMM rages for alot of the DCT3 handsets. Once you are in the DCT3 menu and you select a handset from the menu you can see the memory ranges at the bottom of the page.

This is good, starting to wonder if it is worth continuing with the database or not…

but remember this is only for the DCT3 handset and not for others. I think database should still continue.

Another idea for the database would be to have a 'NO SIM card' section. Where you can find details on how to determine details of last inserted SIM card for different makes of handset?

Just a quick update re. the website.

I have a lot on at the moment so won't be able to do very much with the site, I do however expect to have the site up and running in the next few weeks, possibly towards the end of Easter.

The site is currently live so you're welcome to take a look, leave comments etc. I will attempt to incorporate any feedback.

Dominic

Dear all,

I have a Nokia 6131 to investigate (RM115). Whatever the address I enter for downloading the absolute PM, I always got the same error message

Reading PM Absolute Fail 13

Is it because the phone itself does not allow the reading of OM absolute?

Is there another method, for these kind of phone, to dump the memory (besides desoldering that is).

Thanks,

David.

Billard it is a BB5 chipset therefore a PM absolute dump is not possible at the minute, unless you are wishing to pursue chip removal methods

Thanks s1lang,

It's what I was afraid of. Unfortunately chip removal is out of my reach, due to my lack of knowledge in this area.

Do you know if X-ACT or something else is able to dump a BB5? Cellebrite is not doing it, as far as I know.

The website is now ready to go.

GSM Resources

I hope that people find this a useful resource and to that end please submit PM absolutes to be included, but also it would be great to expand the range of manufacturers. So not just limited to nokia.

Also to if anyone has and how-to guides, articles/papers that they want to appear on the site please submit those to me for inclusion.

Finally feedback is always welcome!

Dominic
