Has anyone heard of a an e-discover tool called Accelerate?
I recently encountered a company that says they use that tool for their e-discovery department and I have never heard of it before. Of course I tried Google and I found a bunch of ways I can Accelerate my forensic processes but no tool called that.
Any thoughts??!

Have the company you encountered verify it's spell-checker

Your google-fu is low ( , my young padawan…. but I feel the force in you…. patience you must have….
Unless you really wanted to measure the popularity of the tool, the good news are that we have an excellent candidate for the "Most unuseful Poll of year 2012" award….. wink

I think what Jaclaz meant to say was "Yes, there is a program, Axcelerate." It was spelled incorrectly which is why you couldn't find any information on it.

Thanks for the quick response Jaclaz!

Yep ) , exactly , but you have to admit that written this way it would have been less than half the fun wink
(and BTW, since part of the topic is about spell checking, it is likely that jaclaz would have used "spelt" instead of "spelled", which would have given away how old and picky he is 😯 )

Recommind is a major player in the eDiscovery market. I don't use their stuff personally, but they do have a significant amount of business, some leading edge tools and are very well known within the industry.
