ACPO recognized Qualification

Unless I'm missing something I couldn't find mention of courses in the ACPO guidelines, as side from mention of the Covert Internet Investigator accreditation being required before any of that type of work is carried out.

As has already been said some forces require a certain passing score from the Foundation course at Cranfield to work in the HTCU. Some require the NPIA courses to have been completed. Some require a number of courses to have been completed for different tools (ie. EnCase I and II and Access Data bootcamp). I'm not sure these units are taking their cue from a particular ACPO direction, rather just setting their own baseline.

I think an ACPO approved cert like the CFCE or CCE would be welcome, I'd certainly go for it.
