I see what you're referring to…when you read "bootable CD", it sounds like you may have just gone for what you know to be a bootable CD, with no regard for platforms or architectures.

Well, good luck. I hope that when you do complete this task, you will post what steps were required, and what you did.

Now that I read it for a 2nd time, I would have quoted it different. Almost there, the links that debaser_ provided me for the ubuntu distro somewhat work. They boot, but die at loading the ramdisk.

I’m thinking Gerry’s idea will be the quickest way to accomplish my task, but would really like to have a bootable PPC iso with some tools IR and CF tools.
