H,
Speaking of scripts, what do you use to create them? Do you create them in ProDiscover (I am not a ProDiscover user so not sure if there is a programming environment in the app)? Some other program? I have always been a VB guy (after being a Fortran & Pascal guy) but it seems more and more things are created in Perl (& Python but that is another conversation).
I write the scripts in Perl using UltraEdit as an IDE. I've written and still use ProDiscover ProScripts, which are Perl scripts that use the ProScript.pm module to interact with images through PD.
I'm moving more toward a 'raw' approach…basically, I'm finding a great deal of utility in opening an image as a read-only file structure (via Mount Image Pro or VDKWin) and performing my analysis that way.
Also, with a little care, the scripts are cross-platform…they can be run on MacOSX, Linux and Windows.
Jon,
I've sent you the scripts you asked for twice now.
I would've been cool if you'd've…you know…said "thanks".

Harlan - sorry to b**t in, but I talked to Jon on the phone today. His website and email are down. He's been having tons of problems with his hosting account.
I know he is very appreciative of the work you've done and the help you've given him.
Harlan,
I never received the scripts. If you could send to my Yahoo account I'd appreciate it (jprowe2005 at Yahoo.com). My email and website have been down for almost two days and no response from support.
Regards,
Jon
Harlan - Thanks again! Sorry for confusion.
