Last week I decided to try the FTK remote acquisition capabilities. I was able to deploy the agent without problems. When I try to map a remote drive the operation completes (the mapped drive appears on the local server) but I'm not able to browse it. The system says "X\ Is not accesible. The media is write protected."
I suspect that the problem has something to do with the server where FTK is running (Windows Server 2008 R2) because Arsenal Image mounter doesn't prompt me for a recovery code when I mount a Bitlocker encripted image on the server but works ok on a Windows 7 workstation.
The FTK support people suggested modifying the mounted drive permissions, but I don't see a Security tab even when I'm local administrator.
The same think happened on other Windows Servers FTK installs so I believe that's more an Windows Server issue.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
