I have a large quantity of old Amiga games floppy disks that have been seized for analysis. My problem is that neither the floppy drive on my machine an external floppy will register the fact that the floppy is in the bay. Is there a way to view the disks outside of obtaining an Amiga drive. it is important that these are viewed or at least checked to ensure no images are held on them. Other media as been a positive for images. This is so that I can with certainty state there is no bad images on the disks. 😯

That's strange way of puting it….
Why don't you want to obtain an Amiga floppy drive? They may be avaialble on eBay.
At the risk of sounding like I'm teaching my granny to suck eggs, were the suspect's machines also seized? If so you could remove the floppy drive from there or even image in-situ.
The format of an amiga floppy is much different than a pc/mac floppy.
That might be the reason why nothing comes up.
The drive is no different than you pc one.
I think there's some software to read in the data.
