hai,

i have case wherein an image (photograph) is involved. i wanted to know whether it is morphed photograph or original. is it their any tools to do that?

I suppose if the photo has layer or history information attached as a Photoshop file would you could easily tell. Other than that without the original photo to compare to or someone with a lot of time to examine the pixel variations it would be more difficult.

it was in jpeg format and no layer information is available. the print of original photo is available but in different pose. how to compare both the soft and hard copy? thanks for info

Scan the hard copy. Scale to the same size as the JPEG. Add the scanned hard copy over the JPEG as a layer. Reduce the opacity of the scanned image until you can see the JPEG (65% or so). Then you should be able to make a basic comparison. You can add a grid layer to segment the image making for easier matching of portions of each image.
