I have a Galaxy S7 and an external HDD with multiple video and image files. I'm trying to determine if any of the video or image files on the external can be linked (via metadata) directly to the phone (Serial #, model and make, IMEI, etc). I was able to find a similar post for Iphone Metadata, which states the answer is essentially no (http//www.csitech.co.uk/iphone-video-metadata/), but was wondering if Android 6 acted differently in regard to creation of these files.

I believe I can use the Exif data from the images to possibly pull GPS data and match that with other GPS data from the phone, so it is a starting point, but am unsure if I can do the same with the video files. In addition to exif data are there any other artifacts or markers to be used to create a link between the two? Thank you for your time.
