I came across the above link which discusses how Hackers embarrassed Apple with a data leak.
Here is an excerpt from the article.
"The leaked data centre on Apple’s “unique device identifiers”, which can be used by app developers to send notifications and to track users. Apple is already preparing to phase out UDIDs. Security and privacy campaigners have criticised them over the past year arguing they could be used to hijack associated accounts, such as Facebook or Twitter."
The author of the article states that Apple is preparing to phase out it's UDID's.
Does anyone know what they might be moving towards? How will they ensure that the iApps are actually going to the correct device? What's next?
