autonomous vehicles forensics methods

Interested to know if anyone has any resources, research willing to share, or websites I could read up on autonomous vehicles with the purpose of forensic methods for collecting, preserving, and analyzing information on Driverless cars. Not so much interested in the Infotainment system, unless this is the primary area data is being stored from other subsystems in car.

Off the cuff questions
1). What data can be collected?
2). What software and hardware tools are being used in these type of investigations?

3). Who are the current manufactures of Driverless Cars?

Feel free to jump in with information or questions that could be useful for developing a research or white paper. Once I have all the data collected I intend to publish it to the forum.
