Autopsy and Mobile Device Forensics

Hello Everyone,

Currently I am an intern assisting a Mobile Device subject matter expert, and she is preparing to teach a training course. She has asked me to look into the success of using Autopsy to acquire mobile phone data, but what I've found so far is rather limited. The courses that this company teaches is geared mainly toward government employees, so from your point of view, would you say that it's a good tool to use…and worth our time to develop? Pros/Cons? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
