Hi All,

I am currently doing some research into BitLocker across various versions of Win and my question is
In Win 7 we can turn on the Bitlocker on the volume level so we can decide whether we want to encrypt system volume and other volumes.

How this is looking in Win 8 and onwards? Can we encrypt the entire drive with multi partitions and the slack? or this is just the volume level as in 7.

I have not got the Win 8 Pro to test it so I am asking, perhaps someone else did this.

Many Thanks.

Bitlocker has always been a full volume encryption (FVE). This is consistent across all versions of the Windows OS so far.
