Has anyone had any luck using Bitpim with Cellebrite cables. When I was at a training class we used the Data Pilot cables and they worked fine. Now that I'm back at work and all we have is Cellebrite, I haven't had much luck using BitPim. Any suggestions, other than buying Data Pilot, which I would like to do, but can't afford.

Thanks in advance

Go to walmart or best buy and buy the commercial public (i.e.-non-forensic) version of datapilot (sorry, I can't remember the exact name they use). It runs about $50 and you get a set of universal susteen cables that will work with bitpim. The software is only licensed for one or two phones (I think), but I just use the cables and sometimes the drivers for the cables that are on the software CD.

"Secure View" is Susteen's forensic version of DataPilot. The differences include Secure View's reporting utility and the fancier collection of cables and case. Yes, the Susteen cables work well with BitPim.

Oddly, the Susteen data cable will charge my old LG, but the data cable that came in the LG box will not!

Go figure. roll
