All your replies have been very instructive for me, since Mobile Devices have never been my area. That is why maybe I am being to "old-fashioned" with the forensically sound stuff.
By the way… I had never heard about this "Aceso" software. It seems quite interesting. Is is also quite inexpensive? D
Thank you everybody.

Feel free to drop them an e-mail. They have always been a good company to deal with.
Try also Cellebrite UFED and UFED Physical
UFED supports 2250 phone models in logical dump
UFED Physical supports 551 phone models in physical dump
RonS - Do you extract emails from BlackBerry? Last time I checked the UFED (standard) it didn't…… or certainly didn't display them in the reporting application.
UFED Physical does decode emails from the BlackBerry dumps (this is not a physical dump, its a file system dump that generates .ipd files).
You can also open .ipd files extracted by other tools (like the BB desktop manager)
Live database files? I take it you don't capture any emails that have been purged by the device due to retention policies?
yes, live database files.
No physcial support for BB (yet?)
Do you export to PST, and also is there any roadmap for including email in standard UFED coverage?
TBH - a blackberry examination, certainly from my point of view, is useless without email support.
Yes, there will be emails in UFED logical (Standard) too.
Is that coming? If so, do you have an ETA or roadmap? At the moment there is no support (on my version anyway)
