Hello all, I have a blackberry storm 9530 that basically looks like it got run over by a car, the screen is completely shattered, the phone appears to turn on but you cannot see anything on the screen. The casing is bent, etc. I have tried to do an acquisition with cellebrite and DS to no avail I believe because with each different settings need to be modified on the phone such as a USB transfer mode, etc. Which because the screen is completely shattered that is not possible. I have also tried to do a back up to an .ipd file through the desktop manager which the device appears to connect to the computer, but just gets hung up and not recognized by the desktop software which my thought on that is because there may be some internal components damaged. Does anyone have any other ideas or am I SOL, thanks everyone.

Best advice would be the change the screen out and see if you are missing an option. It may be set to mass storage mode.

Thanks for the link yea I was assuming that it was probably in mass storage mode, have to check with the client to see if they would like to move foward, I appreciate the response.
