I need a bootable Linux distro for a Sun with an Ultrasparc IIIi architecture (i.e. it is not an Intel architecture). I need to have it run 100% from memory (not try to install itself to the hard disk).
Something similar to Helix would be great, but any 100% memory based Linux distro that supports Ultrasparc would work.
Can anyone recommend a distro that meets these requirements?

Will this do?
It's not Linux, but a port of BSD Unix, [humor]the REAL Unix.[/humor]
(Sorry, couldn't resist. No flames, please, but do check out this distro.) 😉

Thanks! That might work - our CPU is a bit different than what is listed as supported, but it might be close enough. Worth a try.
