This guide is no longer valid for Android 6 and up. That Xiaomi was released with 6.0 so it's newer already. I actually have the same issue with CAM-L21 with board damaged, already made dump but it's also encrypted.

ok i agree … but logically to lunch this kinds of attacks ( brute force attack ) u should extract the key or hash … and no one can decrypt android image until today i send to elcomsoft and UFED and also oxygen they said not yet !! so could u explain how this work …

Working for a state agency I am bound. If as you say you cannot decrypt the data, the only way for you to get into is to find a way by screen unlock with the correct pattern or pin code. Or you hang in with math and run the exploit (former 0day) in your previous posts.

Maybe some people will consider this hidden advertising, but that is not my main purpose.

To make it short, there is a solution for accessing the user data for mostly any encrypted (or not) Android and my company can do it. The success rate is up to 90-95%, but even our solution is void in certain cases.

We offer this in-lab service dedicated to LE only, it takes some times and it is not a cheap solution either, but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel for those who really need a solution for accessing the encrypted user data and are stuck for now.
