Brute Force PWDS

Does anyone know whether the actual keys generator for encryption e.g. iPhones are identical in each model?

I do see the point that models deal with the issue in different ways and I am not asking about the randomly generated keys themselves being identical.

A wild, fleeting thought crossed my mind. Brute force can involve the backup being on, and the password being generated by, the PC. I am wondering whether the keys generator in the handset can be 'tricked' into delivering the answer to the encryption question?
