Hello everyone and thank you for your time. I'm building a forensic environment in a computer with huge RAM and hard drive space so requirements aren't a real limitation.

I would like to have a host and virtualize many guests for different operative systems, different Windows versions and Linux distros to test tools and to have a versatility about workstations (SIFT, CAINE, etc. )

The question here is… which host do you recommend me? and which virtualization system, Qemu? Virtualbox? VMware? I checked some options like debian for host but i would like to know your opinion. Thank you for your time and sorry for my english.

If budget was not a problem I'd use VMWare.

VMWare workstation could probably be downloaded as a trial. Give it a go, if QEmu or VBox is not enough, go with VMWare workstation.

You can also consider VMWare VSphere Hypervisor since it is free, but it's not a desktop solution, it is an entire server setup https://www.vmware.com/products/vsphere-hypervisor.html

Thank you everyone for your opinion. I didn't know anything about VMWare VSphere Hypervisor and it's a real good option because the memory isolation. But if i can't deploy VMWare VSphere Hypervisor . Could i use Windows 10 as host? or does it have any inconvenient?
