I put my ubuntu linux (X86_64) raw image(dd) in a thumbdrive

I get photorec 7.0 for windows, in windows7, i run photorec_win and i try to get linux thumb drive image, but i find there is no option to select folder of DD image, I want to recover one file in the dd image only, how to do?

You read the instructions?

https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec_Step_By_Step

To recover files from a media image, run

photorec image.dd to carve a raw disk image
photorec image.E01 to recover files from an Encase EWF image
photorec 'image.???' if the Encase image is split into several files.
photorec '/cygdrive/d/evidence/image.???' if the Encase image is split into several files in the directory d\evidence
